Sync runs only while the app is open: when you press Sync now, when the device comes back online, or after sign-in. There is no background sync.
Each verified revision is uploaded once as an immutable snapshot. Revisions from other devices are kept on the server; full two-way conflict resolution is not implemented and server records are not downloaded to this device yet.
